Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8, having a overall score of 85 against 83.3. Galaxy M40 is a newer and just a little lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 8, although it's also just a little thicker. These devices have the same Android 10 operating system, so both should give you the same OS features.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy M40, although it has a little worse amount of pixels per inch in the display, a little bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2248 resolution. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M40. They have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 cpu cores.
The Galaxy M40 takes slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which gives a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better photography and videos in low light situations and a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
