Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9, with an 85 score against 83.2. Galaxy M40's design is a little lighter but just a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi 9, and both of them were released with only a couple months difference. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy M40. Both have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a little inferior amount of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a quite larger screen. The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a superior camera than Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate, a camera with lot more mega pixels and a way bigger camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality.
The Galaxy M40 features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M40 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M40 has just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 6 percent bigger battery capacity.
