Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, having a global score of 85 against 78.2. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy M40 is older than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, it's body is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. These devices come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect.
Galaxy M40 features a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a just a little better pixels density. The Galaxy M40 has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy M40 features a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi 9T's camera is very similar to the Galaxy M40 one, because although the Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, it also counts with a way larger camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a much more MP camera in the back.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 71% bigger battery capacity.
