Galaxy M51 has a global score of 87.7, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A42's 87 general score. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Galaxy M51 has 10 version while Galaxy A42 has Android 11 version. Although it's the best in this comparison, Galaxy M51 is an a bit thicker and a bit heavier device than the Galaxy A42.
Galaxy M51 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy M51 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy M51 has a more vivid display than Galaxy A42, because it has a way higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, a better screen density and a bit larger screen.
Galaxy M51 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy M51 also has a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels.
