Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M51, with a score of 93.3 against 87.7. The Xperia 1 III construction is newer, lighter and thinner than Samsung Galaxy M51. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia 1 III has a newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy M51 has Android 10, so it gives a couple nice extra features and better performance.
The Xperia 1 III has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M51, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia 1 III has a more vivid display than Galaxy M51, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a lot higher pixel count per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy M51 captures slightly better photos and videos than Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate, a tinier sensor and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M51 also counts with a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.
The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M51, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory capacity. Galaxy M51 features a very superior battery lifetime than Xperia 1 III, because it has a 56% more battery size.
