Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M51 is just a bit better than the Xperia 5 II, with a general score of 87.7 against 87.2. Although Samsung Galaxy M51 is a better phone than Xperia 5 II, it must be noted that it is also a incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker phone. Sony Xperia 5 II has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy M51, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher number of pixels per display inch and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520px.
Sony Xperia 5 II has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy M51, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy M51 takes better videos and photos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has slower video frame rates, a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality photographs and a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy M51 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
The Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a slightly better storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy M51, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy M51 features a much better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
