Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is much better than Galaxy M53 5G, having a global score of 87 against 76.7. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version while Galaxy M53 5G has Android 12 version. Although it's the best phone in this comparison review, the Galaxy A42 is an older, thicker and just a little bit heavier phone than Galaxy M53 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a much powerful CPU than Galaxy M53 5G, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a lot higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a bit larger screen and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy A42 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy M53 5G, although it has a lot less mega-pixels back-facing camera, they both have the same aperture. Galaxy A42 has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy M53 5G, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1000 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a battery lifetime that is very similar to the battery lifetime in Galaxy M53 5G.
