The Samsung Galaxy S III is much better than the Galaxy Nexus, having a score of 70.8 against 64.3. Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S III both have incredibly similar displays, because although the Galaxy S III has a just a little inferior pixels count in each inch in the screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, it also counts with a little bit bigger display. Galaxy S III features much more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory, the Galaxy S III also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S III features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Nexus, and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S III also has a higher amount of RAM memory and a much better graphics co-processor running at 400 MHz. Galaxy S III features better battery duration than Galaxy Nexus, because it has 2100mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy S III has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Nexus, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S III also has a bigger aperture to take better low light images and video and a way better resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy S III costs a little more money than the Galaxy Nexus, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
