Comparison review

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is much better than Galaxy Note8, with a 98.9 score against 83. Even though the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is just a little bit heavier than Galaxy Note8, it's just a little bit thinner and much newer. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has the previous 13 version while Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Note8 both have quite similar displays, because although the Galaxy Note8 has a little smaller screen and a little bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra features a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that holds up to 1000 GB.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra also has more RAM. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra captures way better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light captures and video, it also counts with a way higher video definition, a lot bigger back camera sensor and a much more megapixels camera.

Although Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Note8. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Note8, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
