Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a score of 98.9, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 score. Even when Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were released with only a few months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is a little bit lighter and a bit thinner. These phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has newer 13 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11, providing some extra features and performance optimizations.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra features a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra also has more RAM. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra counts with a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a little bigger screen, a better resolution of 1440 x 3088 and more pixels per inch of screen.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra features a much greater storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, because it has a 12% more battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra takes much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra also has a way better resolution camera in the back, a lot better video quality and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
