Comparison review
Galaxy Note 20 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, getting a 90.8 score against 76.6. The Galaxy Note 20 body is just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, even when they were released only 3 months apart. Galaxy Note 20 features a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a bit bigger screen.
Galaxy Note 20 features a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Note 20 also has 5 GB more RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 20, because although it has a smaller sensor taking less light and washed colors, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with higher 30 frames per second video frame rate and a much more megapixels back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 features a little bit better storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with superior battery performance than Galaxy Note 20, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note 20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
