The Galaxy Note 20 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, having a global score of 90.8 against 79. The Galaxy Note 20 body is a little lighter and just a bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, although both of them were released with only 5 months difference. The Galaxy Note 20 counts with a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note 20 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. Both have a display with the same size, a greater count of pixels per inch of display and exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 20, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing lower quality photographs and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a much more MP back facing camera and better 30 frames per second video frame rate.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a quite bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note 20, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 20, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity against 4300mAh.
Although Galaxy Note 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, resigning some features and specs.
