Both devices in this comparison review work with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.

Galaxy Note 3 counts with a better storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a SD card slot that admits 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Note Edge features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a much better graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge captures clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same video definition and a same size diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has a camera in the back with more mega pixels and a larger camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.

Galaxy Note 3 counts with just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 7% bigger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it is a bit more expensive than the Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Note 3.
