Apple iPhone 12 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note 3, with a overall score of 88.7 against 81.2. Apple iPhone 12 has iOS 15.x OS, and Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0 OS. Apple iPhone 12 is a way newer device, and it's also just a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy Note 3. IPhone 12 counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a better resolution of 1170 x 2532, a just a bit higher pixel count per inch of display and a little bit bigger display.
The iPhone 12 features a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory, a larger number of cores (and faster) and a 64 bits CPU. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPhone 12, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 64 GB.
IPhone 12 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a lesser megapixels camera, it also counts with a lot larger aperture to take better low-light photography. The Galaxy Note 3 features just a bit better battery life than iPhone 12, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPhone 12, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, resigning some features and specs.
