Apple iPhone 6s Plus works with iOS 9.x OS, while Galaxy Note 3 comes with Android 5.0 OS.

Apple iPhone 6s Plus counts with a little better performance than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a lower number of slower cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU and a better graphics co-processor running at 650 megahertz. The iPhone 6s Plus counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the iPhone 6s Plus also counts with a just a little greater quantity of pixels per inch of display.

The iPhone 6s Plus's camera is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 one, because although the iPhone 6s Plus has a less mega-pixels camera and a lower (4K) video quality, and they both have a F2.2 diafragm aperture, it also counts with a larger sensor shooting higher quality videos and photographs.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 6s Plus, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 3, giving up a couple specs and features.
