Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 3 is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL, with an 81.2 score against 78.9. Even though the Galaxy Note 3 is better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, we must highlight that it's also a lot older, a little bit heavier and a bit thicker. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS, but Galaxy Note 3 has 5.0 version and Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a much better looking screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a quite worse display density and a quite smaller screen. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a bit more powerful CPU than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has 4 lesser CPU cores and less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.
Google Pixel 3a XL features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back camera with a lower 12.2 MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better captures in low light environments and a bigger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB. Google Pixel 3a XL counts with just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 3700mAh battery size against 3200mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
