Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is just a bit better than the HTC One M9, having a overall score of 81.2 against 77.7. Both devices we are comparing here work with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so they should provide the user very similar OS features. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is older and a bit heavier than the HTC One M9, it's design is still thinner.

HTC One M9 features a bit better screen than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the HTC One M9 also counts with a just a little greater number of pixels in each display inch. The HTC One M9 features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the HTC One M9 also has a 64 bits processing unit, a better 600 MHz GPU and 4 more CPU cores.

HTC One M9 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a same size aperture and the same video frame rate, the HTC One M9 also has a way higher 20 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a way bigger sensor. Galaxy Note 3 counts with more storage for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit better battery life than HTC One M9, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC One M9. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the HTC One M9, letting go some specs and features.
