The Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3's global score of 81.2. The Huawei Mate X is a incredibly newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, although it's way heavier and extremely thicker. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0 version, giving you a lot of extra features and some performance improvements.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, a little lower display pixel density and a way smaller display. The Huawei Mate X has a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage.
The Huawei Mate X counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and also faster). Galaxy Note 3 features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a much smaller back camera sensor capturing lot worse quality videos and images, a way lower 13 mega pixels resolution camera and a smaller aperture which is worse for low light captures and video.
Huawei Mate X features a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 3200mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note 3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 3, letting go some features and specs.
