Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is slightly better than the Huawei P40 Lite's global score of 79.5. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has an older 5.0 version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an older cellphone than Huawei P40 Lite, but it is just a little bit lighter and a little thinner anyway.
Galaxy Note 3 counts with just a bit better screen than Huawei P40 Lite, although it has a bit smaller screen, a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite worse screen density. The Huawei P40 Lite's CPU is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Note 3's CPU, because although the Huawei P40 Lite has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more cpu cores (although they are slower) and 3 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei P40 Lite has a little bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Huawei P40 Lite features longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 31 percent greater battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 Lite takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and video in low light environments, a lot more mega pixels camera and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and photographs.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 costs a bit more than the Huawei P40 Lite, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
