Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the LG G3's 76.4 global score. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the LG G3 were released with only 9 months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 design is a little bit thinner but also heavier. Both phones we compare here have the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System).

The LG G3 has a better display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen. LG G3 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Both of them have a 450 MHz graphics processing unit, a Quad-Core processing unit and a 3 GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a slightly better camera than LG G3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a 13 MP back camera, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a 0.33 inches camera sensor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a larger camera aperture. Galaxy Note 3 features more memory capacity for games and applications than LG G3, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a little longer battery duration than LG G3, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G3. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the LG G3, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
