The Galaxy Note 3 is just a bit better than LG Q8, having an 81.2 score against 77.2. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 3 has 5.0 version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Galaxy Note 3's body is a lot older, somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker than the LG Q8.

Galaxy Note 3 features a little bit better hardware performance than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Note 3 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. LG Q8 has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.

The Galaxy Note 3 counts with a little better battery life than LG Q8, because it has a 7 percent greater battery size.

LG Q8 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG Q8 also has a larger diafragm aperture, a better resolution camera in the back and a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos.
