Comparison review

Motorola edge is better than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, getting an 89.6 score against 81.2. Both phones we are comparing come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola edge has newer 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0 version, so it gives you a couple additional features and better performance. Even though the Motorola edge is much newer than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it's somewhat thicker and heavier.

The Motorola edge has a bit faster processor than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more 2.3 GHz processing cores and more RAM. Galaxy Note 3 counts with a sharper screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher pixels quantity per screen inch.

Motorola edge counts with much more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Motorola edge features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Motorola edge also has a larger aperture for better low-light photography, a way more mega-pixels camera and a much larger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photos.

The Motorola edge counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 3, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note 3. If you want to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Note 3, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
