Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 3 is a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a score of 81.2 against 77.2. Even being the best cellphone in this comparison review, it must be noted that it's also a notably older, a little bit thicker and just a little heavier cellphone. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 3 has older 5.0 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a lot better performance than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has 4 less processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Motorola Edge 40 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 both have really similar displays, although the Motorola Edge 40 also has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a little bit bigger screen and a just a bit better pixels density.

Motorola Edge 40 counts with a lot better camera than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a lot bigger aperture to take better low light captures and video and a much more MP back camera.

Motorola Edge 40 counts with slightly more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 40 has a superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 38 percent larger battery size.
