Comparison review
Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 general score. Although Galaxy Note 3 is a better cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it must be noted that it is also an older, somewhat heavier and just a little thicker cellphone. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 3 has newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2.
Galaxy S5 Plus features just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a little bit higher pixels amount in each inch in the screen. Galaxy S5 Plus has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a much better graphics co-processor.
Galaxy S5 Plus counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a F2.2 camera aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Galaxy S5 Plus also has a camera with a better 16 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger sensor capturing higher quality pictures.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal memory. Galaxy Note 3 has a bit longer battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
The Galaxy Note 3 is a bit more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
