Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is slightly better than Galaxy Note 3, getting an 85.7 score against 81.2. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's body is newer, thinner and incredibly lighter than the Galaxy Note 3. Both of these devices have the same Android 5.0 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding operating system features.

Galaxy S6 Edge features a sharper display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a greater pixels number per inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a faster graphics processor working at 650 MHz, a 64-bit processing unit and a higher number of cores.

The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Note 3 counts with longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 23% greater battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 captures better photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a smaller sensor taking worse quality pictures, a lower (4K) video resolution, a less MP resolution camera and a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light photos and videos.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Note 3. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy Note 3, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
