Sony Xperia 1 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, having an 82.6 score against 81.2. The Sony Xperia 1 body is much newer and a little thinner, but a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The Xperia 1 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Sony Xperia 1 has a bit better screen than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels, a bit bigger display and much more pixels per inch in the display. Sony Xperia 1 features a superior memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.

The Xperia 1 features a little better battery performance than Galaxy Note 3, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh. The Xperia 1 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a worse 12 mega pixels resolution back camera and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot bigger aperture.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note 3. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Galaxy Note 3, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
