Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 3 is slightly better than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, getting a score of 81.2 against 78.6. Both phones in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 3 has 5.0 version while Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Despite of the fact that Galaxy Note 3 is noticeably older than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, it's design is somewhat thinner and lighter.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, a little bit smaller screen and a just a bit less pixels per inch of screen. The Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a processing unit that's just as good as Galaxy Note 3's processing unit, because although the Xperia XA2 Plus has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (but slower) and 3 GB more RAM.

Xperia XA2 Plus has a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 400 GB. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus shoots slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has a bigger aperture for better low light photography and video, a lot bigger camera sensor which provides a lot higher image and video quality and a way better resolution camera in the back.

Xperia XA2 Plus features just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity.
