Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a bit better than Galaxy Note 3's global score of 81.2. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a noticeably newer device than the Galaxy Note 3, but it is incredibly heavier and a lot thicker. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a bit larger display, a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a lot better pixels density.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a greater storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has an external SD slot that admits up to 400 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 3 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores (and they are faster).
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better battery life than Galaxy Note 3, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a much bigger sensor providing a way higher image quality, a camera in the back with a much higher resolution and a bigger aperture to take better low-light photography.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Note 3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 3, resigning a couple specifications.
