Galaxy Note 3 has a score of 81.2, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5's 77.6 general score. Galaxy Note 3 is an older, somewhat thicker and just a little heavier cellphone than Sony Xperia Z5. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 3 has 5.0 version and Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version.
The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a 450 megahertz graphics processing unit and a 3 GB RAM memory, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a greater number of cores (but slower). The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a quite better number of pixels in each screen inch.
Xperia Z5 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xperia Z5 also has a much bigger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a way higher 23 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a bigger aperture for better low-light photography and videos.

Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 10% greater battery size.
