Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 3 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, having a overall score of 81.1 against 79. Both devices we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 3 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11 version, so it provides the user some additional features and some performance improvements. Galaxy Note 3 is an a lot older phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but Samsung managed to build it a little thinner and somewhat lighter anyway.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a processing unit that's very similar to Galaxy Note 3's CPU, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 4 more 2.3 GHz processing cores and more RAM. The Galaxy Note 3 has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, although it has a bit smaller display, a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a just a bit inferior number of pixels per inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a much larger back camera sensor taking much better quality videos and photos, a bigger camera aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light environments and a much more MP camera.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a very superior memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 costs a little more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
