Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note 4's 81.6 score. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0, so it counts with a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is newer than Galaxy Note 4, it is a little thicker and a little heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a little sharper display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a quite smaller display and a little less pixels per inch of display. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 4, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.

The Galaxy Note 4 counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has 3 GB less RAM and 4 less cores , it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy Note 4 takes clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a way smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light captures and videos and a smaller sensor shooting lower quality photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher 16 megapixels resolution.

Galaxy Note8 has a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 2 percent larger battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is not only the best devices of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bit cheaper, making this phone a simple decision.
