Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is much better than the Galaxy Note 4, having a 93.2 score against 81.6. Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has iOS 15.x OS, while Galaxy Note 4 comes with Android 5.0 OS. The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max construction is much newer and just a little thinner than the Galaxy Note 4's, although it's way heavier.
IPhone 13 Pro Max features a better performance than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster), a greater amount of RAM and a 64-bit processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a bit better looking screen than iPhone 13 Pro Max, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
The Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has a way bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max's camera is very similar to the Galaxy Note 4 one, because although the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has a back-facing camera with a way lower 12 mega pixels resolution and a worse video quality, it also counts with a lot bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos and video.

Although Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note 4. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 4, giving up a couple features and specifications.
