The Google Pixel 4 XL has a score of 82.9, which is a bit better than Galaxy Note 4's 81.6 overall score. Although the Google Pixel 4 XL is just a bit heavier than Galaxy Note 4, it's a bit thinner and also a lot newer. Google Pixel 4 XL has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.

Galaxy Note 4 counts with a bit better screen than Google Pixel 4 XL, although it has a quite smaller screen, a little worse screen pixels density and a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy Note 4 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a tinier sensor taking worse quality videos and pictures and a lot smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a camera with a way higher 16 mega pixels resolution.

Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a little better battery performance than Galaxy Note 4, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity against 3220mAh.

Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 4. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Google Pixel 4 XL, else you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, giving up some specs and features.
