Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but LG G8S ThinQ has 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0, so it gives you a couple additional features. LG G8S ThinQ is a notably newer and just a bit thinner phone than Galaxy Note 4, although it's also just a bit heavier.
