Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has older 5.0 version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a way older, a bit heavier and a little thicker cellphone than LG V40 ThinQ.

The Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little more vivid screen than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a little lower screen pixel density and a little bit smaller screen. The LG V40 ThinQ features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 4, because it has 32 GB more internal storage and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

LG V40 ThinQ features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with 3 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and they are faster). LG V40 ThinQ shoots clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because although it has a worse video definition and a lot less mega pixels back-facing camera, and they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, the LG V40 ThinQ also counts with a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and video.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a little longer battery duration than Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a better device, it is more expensive than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V40 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 4, else you can save some money and buy the LG V40 ThinQ, giving up some specifications.
