Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 4 has a general score of 81.6, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A40's 79.6 global score. Galaxy Note 4 is an extremely older, a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier cellphone than the Galaxy A40. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 4 has 5.0 version while Galaxy A40 has Android 11.
Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Galaxy Note 4 has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a just a little greater display pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light photography and videos, and they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Galaxy A40 has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 4, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
