Galaxy Note 4 is a bit better than Galaxy S7 edge, getting a score of 81.6 against 78.1. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 4 has the previous 5.0 version and Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Despite being the best in this comparison, the Galaxy Note 4 is an older, just a bit thicker and heavier cellphone than Galaxy S7 edge.
The Galaxy Note 4 counts with a much better display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a just a little lower display pixels density, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a little bit bigger display. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a graphics processing unit.
Galaxy S7 edge features a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy S7 edge also has an external memory slot that supports up to 200 GB. The Galaxy Note 4 has a bit better camera than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a lot smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting images and/or video in low light environments and a smaller camera sensor giving a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a camera with lot more MP.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with just a little better battery performance than Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 12 percent larger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy Note 4 is also by far the cheapest one, making it very easy to pick between these phones.
