Comparison review
The Xperia 1 has an overall score of 82.6, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 4's 81.6 global score. Although the Xperia 1 is a little bit heavier than the Galaxy Note 4, it's a bit thinner and also newer. Xperia 1 features a display that is just as good as the display in Galaxy Note 4, although the Xperia 1 also has a better 1644 x 3840px resolution, a little bit bigger display and a little better pixels density.
Xperia 1 features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Xperia 1 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more cpu cores and 3 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia 1 features just a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a way tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos, and they both have the same video definition and a same size sensor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also counts with higher video frame rates and a camera with way more mega-pixels.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Note 4. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy Note 4, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
