IPhone 6 Plus has a global score of 80.4, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Note 5's global score of 79.3. Even though iPhone 6 Plus is older and a little bit heavier than Galaxy Note 5, it's body is still a little thinner. The iPhone 6 Plus counts with iOS 8.x operating system, and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 operating system.
IPhone 6 Plus has a display that's very similar to the Galaxy Note 5 one, although the iPhone 6 Plus has a quite smaller screen, a just a little less pixels per display inch and a way worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. IPhone 6 Plus has a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Apple iPhone 6 Plus counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a GPU, more cores (but slower) and a 64-bits processing unit. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a bit superior battery duration than iPhone 6 Plus, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2915mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 captures much clearer photos and videos than iPhone 6 Plus, because it has a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photography and video, a camera with a much better resolution and a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Although iPhone 6 Plus is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Note 5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPhone 6 Plus, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Note 5, resigning a couple specs and features.
