Comparison review
Google Pixel 2 XL has a general score of 82.5, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 global score. Even though Google Pixel 2 XL is notably newer than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, it's a little bit heavier and a little thicker. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a little sharper screen than Google Pixel 2 XL, although it has a bit worse 2560 x 1440 resolution, a little smaller screen and a just a little less pixels per inch in the display.
The Google Pixel 2 XL counts with a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 64 GB more internal memory. The Google Pixel 2 XL has a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Google Pixel 2 XL also has a larger number of cores (and they are faster).
The Google Pixel 2 XL features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 3520mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
