Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a global score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than HTC One M9's 77.7 overall score. Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and HTC One M9 were released only 5 months apart, Samsung Galaxy Note 5's body is just a bit heavier but much thinner than HTC One M9. Both phones we are comparing here use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a more recent 5.1 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0.

The HTC One M9 counts with a quite better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with more CPU cores , a 64-bits processor and an extra graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Note 5 has a bit better looking display than HTC One M9, because it has a little larger screen, a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a just a little better pixel density.

The HTC One M9 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the HTC One M9 also counts with a more megapixels camera and a bigger sensor. The HTC One M9 features slightly more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy Note 5 features just a bit longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 6% more battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, else you can save a couple dollars and get the HTC One M9, giving up a couple features and specifications.
