Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a little bit better than HTC U11, with a score of 79.3 against 77.6. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is older and a bit heavier than the HTC U11, it's construction is still a little bit thinner. The Galaxy Note 5 has a little bit better screen than HTC U11, because although it has a just a bit lower display density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a little bigger display.

HTC U11 has a very superior storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the HTC U11 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The HTC U11 features a superior hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the HTC U11 also has a higher number of cores.

The HTC U11 and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 have incredibly similar battery durations. The Galaxy Note 5 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier camera aperture and a tinier sensor giving a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher 16 mega pixels resolution.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC U11. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Note 5, else you can save some money and buy the HTC U11, giving up some specifications.
