The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is just a bit better than Galaxy Note 5, having an 82.9 score against 79.3. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's construction is a lot newer, but a little heavier and thicker than the Galaxy Note 5. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a better processing power than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a greater number of cores and more RAM memory.

Galaxy Note 5 counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a quite lower pixel density and a quite smaller display. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a much better camera than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a lot bigger sensor which gives a much higher photo and video quality, a bigger aperture to take better low light photos and videos and a way better resolution camera in the back.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 64 GB more internal storage. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.

Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Note 5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Note 5, resigning some features and specifications.
