The Huawei Mate X is much better than Galaxy Note 5, getting an 89.4 score against 79.3. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS, but Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1, giving a lot of extra features. Huawei Mate X is a way newer cellphone than Galaxy Note 5, but it is way thicker and much heavier.

The Galaxy Note 5 has a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a bit lower 2560 x 1440 resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei Mate X has a better CPU than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a greater number of cores and 4 GB more RAM memory.

Huawei Mate X counts with much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 448 GB more internal storage. Galaxy Note 5 shoots better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a lot tinier sensor which provides a lot worse photo and video quality, a much less mega pixels back camera and a tinier aperture.

Huawei Mate X counts with a superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 50 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note 5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Note 5, giving up some features and specifications.
