Comparison review

Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is slightly better than the LG G3's 76.4 score. Both phones in this comparison review have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 5 has a more recent 5.1 version and LG G3 has Android 5.0. The Galaxy Note 5 is a newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than LG G3, but it's also heavier.

LG G3 counts with a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the LG G3 also counts with a bit greater display pixels density. LG G3 counts with a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a larger number of cores (and they are faster).

LG G3 features a little bit more storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. LG G3 and Galaxy Note 5 both have really similar batteries performance. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a bit better camera than LG G3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality, a back camera with a higher resolution and a much larger aperture to take better low-light captures.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G3. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the LG G3, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
