The Galaxy Note 5 has an overall score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than Moto G8 Power's score of 76. The Galaxy Note 5 is an noticeably older cellphone than Moto G8 Power, but Samsung made it somewhat lighter and a lot thinner. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 5 has the older 5.1 version while Moto G8 Power has Android 10.

The Moto G8 Power has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Moto G8 Power also has a greater number of cores. The Galaxy Note 5 features a more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440px resolution and a higher pixel density.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Moto G8 Power feature very similar cameras, because although the Moto G8 Power has a smaller sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, a camera with a 16 MP resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures.

Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto G8 Power also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Moto G8 Power features a way better battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G8 Power. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 5, otherwise you can save some money and get the Moto G8 Power, giving up some specifications.
