Galaxy A31 has an overall score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 score. The Galaxy A31 construction is a lot newer, but somewhat thicker and a bit heavier than the Galaxy Note 5. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Galaxy A31 has 10 version while Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version, counting with some extra features.

Galaxy A31 features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Galaxy A31 also has a higher number of cores. The Galaxy Note 5 features a sharper screen than Galaxy A31, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher number of pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.

The Galaxy A31 has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A31 also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy A31 features a superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.

Galaxy A31 takes clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photographs or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much higher photo and video quality and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
