Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is slightly better than the Galaxy Alpha, having a 79.3 score against 76.3. Despite being the best we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 construction is heavier and thicker than Galaxy Alpha. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a newer 5.1 version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a lot better resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a bigger screen and a lot greater pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a quite better performance than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a greater number of cores.

The Galaxy Note 5 features much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a much better battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy Note 5 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Galaxy Note 5 also has a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a bigger aperture.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Alpha. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, letting go some specs and features.
