Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note 5, with a score of 80.4 against 79.3. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition construction is newer and a little lighter than the Galaxy Note 5's, although it is just a little bit thicker. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Note Fan Edition. Both have a display with the same size, the same pixels density and the same 2560 x 1440 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit faster processor than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a higher number of cores. The Galaxy Note 5 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and videos in low light environments and a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a lot higher resolution back camera.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features just a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 7 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Note 5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 5, giving up a couple specifications.
