Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 5 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note3, having a 79.3 score against 77.7. Even though Galaxy Note 5 is a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy Note3, it's just a little bit thinner and also newer. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 5 has the newer 5.1 version and Samsung Galaxy Note3 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note3, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has a better pixel count per inch of display and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. Galaxy Note3 has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note3 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note3 counts with a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has a larger sensor taking higher quality photos, a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos and a higher resolution camera in the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Note3 features a bit superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 7 percent larger battery capacity.
